We were recently given a Madison Avenue Baby Tote Bag by Amy Michelle, and one of our moms took it for a test ride. Here’s what she had to say about it:
This bag was deep but not very wide. I liked the organized pockets for everything; there was a slot for diapers and a wipes case, a zipper pouch that fit a small blanket and one outfit, and two pouches for bottles (I’m breastfeeding, so I used them for the camera and diaper cream, which fit perfectly).
One of the cool things about this bag is that it converts into a backpack. It was a little difficult to figure out, but once I got it I thought that it was a cool idea. It’s not really the most comfortable thing to wear for a long period of time, though. Another nice feature is that it has handles that can be used to hang it on your stroller.
I’m a breast feeding mom, and it has the perfect amount of room for me, but I’m not sure if formula and bottles would fit without making the bag bulge out.
One thing I love about it is the front pouch for moms. It has a zipper pouch for wallet and cell phone, and enough room for a few more things. I liked that there was a separate space for my stuff and I didn’t have to go hunting down to the bottom of the diaper bag for my lipstick. I also like the attachment for your keys in the front zipper pouch. On the inside it had an attachment for a pacifier, which is also nice since you don’t have to hunt for it, that is if you can remember to attach it!
It is definitely made to be used as a messenger bag, as the strap is too long to wear as a shoulder bag.
Overall this a great diaper bag if you like the messenger bag style; it is organized well with moms in mind. The only thing I am unsure of is whether it would be really enough room for bottles and formula. But it was the perfect amount of space for what I needed.

I would love this for my step daughter who just gave birth to her 3rd baby, a little boy! She is nursing so wouldn’t have to haul around formula and bottles, so the fact that it isn’t very wide, really isn’t a big deal.

I would love this bag for myself. I love the idea of either using it as a shoulder bag or a backpack. With three kids, a huge diaper bag is sometimes too bulky to carry around. This would be perfect. My favorite is the black with apple green lining. Thanks so much for this giveaway.

looks awesome. We have baby #3 on the way and need a good diaper bag that isn’t going to take up gobs of space (I just don’t have that much space anymore) and a backpack feature is always a double plus. The navy bag would be amazing.

I’d go for the Black with Apple Green Lining. I have a 4.5 month old and plan to have more children and need a bag that will hold up to all of them and fit items for my children (especially the bulky cloth diapers I pack), me, and my husband! Right now I am dragging along my diaper bag full of stuff and my purse, and my organizer, both my husband’s and my phone, and my keys that don’t quite fit in the bag or purse, with a changing pad that is literally stuffed in the back pocket, along with wipes — and it’s driving me nuts!
This baby tote looks like the perfect solution!

I need a new diaper bag for carrying all my baby’s diaper gear around! I have a beautiful 6 month old daughter and I’m still using the diaper bag that I used from my 2 other children! This Madison Avenue Baby Tote Bags has all the features I need to keep my daughter’s gear organized and it is ultra cool looking too! I feel very frumpy and dumpy when I carry my current diaper bag because it is so worn out and really not a functional bag. So I thank you so much for this opportunity to enter! These look wonderful! With carrying around a baby and toddlers things, this bag would be a great help. My favorite color choice is the charcoal with galaxy red print lining. The bag looks very stylish and I love that it fills the needs of carrying baby items as well as mommy items. It’s an all in one tote.

Today was garbage day and I had to throw out my diaper bag, the zipper is broken and the front pocket just ripped and its hanging there. It looked like a piece of junk. I don’t have another one (yet). I like red with khaki lining.

I love the Charcoal one. I admit I would keep it for myself as I have a 3 month old daughter and right now am using my husband’s green military tool bag for a diaper bag. I tried to sew on hearts but it still looks like a military tool bag!

I have 3 kids and am expecting a 4th. I have had many different diaper bags and this bag seems to have everything that I need. I especially like that it attaches to the stroller. No matter how big the basket, they are never big enough and to not have to put the bag in the basket is huge. Pockets for the cell phone and personals is awesome!
