We just had a baby and are flat broke and have tons of family members to buy gifts for, so we are doing the homemade gifts this year. You can go to Joanne Fabrics and buy some great fabric for like, $3 a yard and then make tie blankets out of them and blankets are totally customizable. All you need to make a tie blanket is a pair of scisors. Plus most fabrics at Joanne Fabrics are half off right now. Good tips.
