Sorry for the confusion! If you take a look at step three, you will notice that you need to pair a darker eyeshadow with another eyeshadow (a light, shimmery shade) to serve as a kind of base for the darker shade. The eyeliner helps define your eyes for the perfect smoky look. Hope that helps! :)</description>
