"While the words "I love you" are powerful on their own when coming from the heart, it's often more romantic when you are able to show someone you love them without having to say it."

Sure, hearing “I love you” is wonderful in its own right, but how can you show that special someone you really care? Here are a few heartfelt gestures to show the special people in your life you love them without having to utter a word.

Pick up the Slack

Are there chores that your significant other really can’t stand to do? Why not show your appreciation for that special someone in your life and pick up the slack for her? Wash the dishes, do a load of laundry, or whatever else needs to be done. This simple gesture will prove you love her and appreciate what she does for you on a regular basis.

Get a “Just Because” Present

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to show your love. Sometimes, a simple heartfelt card or a little trinket she’ll enjoy is all it takes to show you care. Don’t wait for a special occasion, either — spring a little gift on your loved one any day of the year just because you can!

Cook Dinner

If your loved one usually does all the cooking, why not surprise her with a romantic, home-cooked meal? Whip up her favorite dish, light a few candles, and buy a bouquet of her favorite flowers to set the mood. After a long day, it’ll be the perfect opportunity for the two of you to sit down and unwind, and she’ll appreciate the fact that you took the time to do something for her to show how much you care.

Leave Notes

Buy a package of Post-It notes and write sweet compliments, quotes, or heartfelt phrases on several of them. Leave them around the house in various places where your sweetheart is sure to find them. This simple gesture of affection will remind your loved one you think about her daily, and she’ll have a sweet reminder of your love to get her through the day.

While the words “I love you” are powerful on their own when coming from the heart, it’s often more romantic when you are able to show someone you love them without having to say it. These simple gestures are an excellent way to prove your love for that special someone in your life and will speak volumes about your feelings without you having to say a single word.
