Why wait until December to start listening to Christmas music? You can get into the holiday spirit early by listening to classic Christmas tunes online — all for free! Here are a few of my favorite websites to visit when I want to hear a few Christmas songs.

1. Live365

Click over to Live365 and choose from one of hundreds of free online radio stations that play Christmas music. Selections include a variety of tunes from the 40′s, 50′s, and 60′s as well as more modern classics and new tunes that may become your favorites. With so many stations to choose from, you are guaranteed to find a selection of music you can enjoy.

2. AOL Radio

AOL Radio is prized for their huge selection of free radio stations, but they also have a moderate amount of stations that specialize in all types of Christmas tunes. Check out “Country Holiday” if you’re in the mood for a Country-inspired Christmas or “World Holiday” for a selection of Christmas songs that span the globe.

“Pop Holiday” offers a selection of Christmas melodies both old and new while “Holiday Classics” will allow you to listen to timeless Christmas music that has spanned generations.

3. AccuHolidays from AccuRadio

Take a look at AccuRadio’s AccuHolidays collection, where tons of radio stations playing nothing but Christmas music can be found. Holiday rock, country Christmas tunes, pop classics, Gospel holiday tunes, and more are available for your listening pleasure. Simply click the speaker icon to begin listening to holiday favorites both old and new!

4. ShoutCast

ShoutCast is a popular online radio website for many genres, but they also offer several pages of strictly Christmas stations for your enjoyment. No matter what type of music you usually enjoy, you can find a Christmas station that fits the theme you are looking for. Try the Christmas R&B station for smooth tunes to get you through the holidays or the Hot Country Christmas station if you enjoy a country twist on classic Christmas songs.

5. ListenLive

While not nearly as comprehensive as other online radio stations, Listen Live offers several streaming stations from Europe and worldwide that specialize in only Christmas tunes. Most stations are available only on the Internet, but some of their streams are actual radio stations based in the United States and elsewhere. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on these other websites, check out Listen Live for stations like Top 40 Christmas, Christmas Rock, Christmas Jazz, and other stations.

Getting into the holiday spirit with classic Christmas tunes is one of my favorite parts about the holiday season, but you don’t have to wait until December to be merry! Turn to one of these online radio stations where Christmas music will be streamed 24/7 now and throughout the holidays.
