"Photofiddle specializes in taking your regular, point-and-click photos... and turning them into works of art."

There are a lot of professional photo printing and gift websites on the Internet. Some specialize in quick & easy photo printing, some in photo gifts, some in scrapbooking. It can be a chore to go through them all and find the one that would be best for what you’re looking for. Do you stick with a one-size-fits-all company that does a little bit of everything, or do you take your business to a few specialty shops who focus on what they do best? If you prefer the latter, take a look at Photofiddle.

Photofiddle specializes in taking your regular, point-and-click photos (or your brilliant masterpeices, if you’re a genius behind the lense) and turning them into works of art. Literally. Photofiddle takes your regular photographs and prints them on canvas or archival paper, transforming them into a brilliant watercolor, or a black and white sketch, or stained glass, modern art, or an oil painting… the list goes on. Just take a look at their gallery and see for yourself what they can do.

We ordered a picture ourselves — a photo turned into an oil painting. The service was great, the speed in which we received the item was impressive, and the product was amazing. We’re not the only ones who noticed what a good business they’re running, though — The Washington Post, USA Today, and PC Magazine have all been equally impressed.

If you haven’t decided on a Valentine’s Day gift yet, this could be the one.

I know you’re wondering, “Okay, it’s gorgeous, but how much is it?” For a work printed on canvas (no frame) prices start at $33.95, canvas wrapped around a wood frame start at $59.95, prints on archival paper start at $14.95, and paper prints set in an oak frame start at $36.95. But for TotallyHer readers, Photofiddle has provided an exclusive special offer: get 15% off! Just enter totallyher15 on the shopping cart page!

In addition, Photofiddle has provided us with a $50 gift card to give away! Just leave a comment and you’ll be entered to win. The giveaway ends February 16 and the winner will be notified on the 17th!

Goodbye Farrah

Farrah Fawcett was a name and face (and body) that graced the homes of millions in her prime. Girls wanted to be like her, imitate her hairstyle; boys wanted her..or at least poster of her. It’s no surprise that her battle with cancer has captivated so many.

We Exchange Gifts, Does that Make us Materialistic?

Does giving gifts really mean families are shallow and superficial, focused only on materialism? Or does giving gifts allow an expression of love and celebration that can warm hearts and make people feel deeply loved?

Making a Major Difference with Small Changes

If you don’t have a huge budget for decorating, that doesn’t mean you have to come home to the same exact surroundings every single day. If you’re bored with how your home looks, change it! It doesn’t take that much effort, and it doesn’t even have to cost any money unless you want it to.
