"With names like Fruit Punch, Blackberry, and Sugar Plum, you'd think these lip glosses would have a bit of flavor to them similar to their names."

As a self-professed lip gloss junkie, there’s no gloss I wouldn’t try. That’s why I was super excited to revisit an old favorite of mine — Stila Lip Glaze!

I’ve used this gloss once before, but somehow it dropped off the bandwagon and out of my makeup bag until recently, when I decided to give this another go. Stila Lip Glaze comes in over 20 colors, and I chose the Fruit Punch variety for this review.

With names like Fruit Punch, Blackberry, and Sugar Plum, you’d think these lip glosses would have a bit of flavor to them similar to their names. While I didn’t notice much flavor with the variety I tried, these glosses do smell surprisingly good, if not totally lick-able!

My shade was described as a “creamy red,” but it was noticeably more pink than red. I was quite happy with the hue however; it was pink, but not overly so, and it looked very pretty and sheer on my lips. 5 stars there, Stila!

Even though Stila’s Lip Glaze is stickier than I remember, I wasn’t bothered by it to the point where I just wanted to wipe my lips off.

I only have two complaints about this gloss, and that would be the amount of gloss you actually get and the price compared to similar lip glosses. For $22, you don’t get that much gloss, and it can take a while for the gloss to actually get to the top of the applicator. However, I’d consider spending the money when I have a little extra cash and want to treat myself to something pretty and nice.

Overall, I’m happy with Stila Lip Glaze and would like to try the other varieties to see how they stack up flavor-wise in comparison to Fruit Punch.

You can purchase Stila Lip Glaze at Sephora for $22 each.
